Full-Day Experience on The Nile
With Its Source in Uganda, The Nile River flows over 6,600 kilometres (4,100 miles) until emptying into the Mediterranean Sea. For thousands of years, the river has provided a source of irrigation to transform the dry area around it into lush agricultural land. Today, the river continues to serve as a source of irrigation, as well as an important transportation and trade route.
Very early morning transfers from Kampala with your driver guide heading to Murchison falls national park for 5 hours and you will have a stop at Ziwa Rhinos sanctuary for -/+1hour to track the rhinos. Later your driver guide will drive you entering the national park with a visit to The Top of the falls. Have an evening game drive in the southern park. Later check in and have dinner.
An early morning game drive at around 6:30hrs where your driver guide will transfer you for 3 hours and after the game viewing in this savannah area drive back to the lodge for breakfast in the morning. In the afternoon head out for an afternoon boat cruise along River Nile known to be the longest river in the world, you will have a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls.
In the morning you will catch your flight from Murchison falls national park heading to Kibale national park via Kasese and your guide will pick you up from the airstrip and transfer you heading to your lodge passing through some of the most beautiful green vegetation zones of Uganda and then arrive at your lodge for lunch and an evening community walk around the crater lakes.
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and transfer for -/+30 minutes to the starting point at the headquarters for briefing and later head out to the forest with a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guide who will take you on the tracking activity inside the forest to search for the chimpanzee and other monkey species, but famously this is a primates capital in the afternoon have lunch and later relax for some time then we head out for a cultural bigodi swamp walk, this swamp has various birds species that live here and other primates as well.
Early in the morning, have your breakfast and we shall pass through a rough road while showing you the beauty of this magnificent area with a stop and visit the “Top of The World” you will be here for –/+20minutes and your guide will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National park for -/+2hours with a stop at Kasoga cultural community spend some time and learn the history of the community with wildlife, transfer to the lodge for check-in and lunch, in the evening head out for thrilling game viewing in this savannah grassland national park which is famous for the tree climbing lions and other predators.
Wake up with your hearty breakfast and transfer for a morning game drive this is the best time for anyone to see the cats while relaxing and more wildlife grazing, you will visit lake Kasenyi and in mid-morning head to Mweya safari lodge for lunch and get ready yet another boat cruise along Kazinga channel where this lies between a rift valley and most of the animals and birds come for sunbathing along this channel, you will spot Nile crocodiles. This Channel connects 2 Grabben lakes that are Lake Edward and Lake George after this cruise your guide will transfer you to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth for the Tree climbing lions on tomorrow’s game drive.
Very early in the morning transfer for the game drive after your breakfast for -/+2hours, later you guide will transfer you from Ishasha to Bwindi forest with a picnic lunch passing through the beautiful hills of western Uganda for -/+4hours arriving in the late afternoon. Arrive at the lodge with an evening at leisure.
After an early reakfast, along with your packed food, our Safaris Guide will transfer you to the Park Headquarters for a briefing on how to conduct yourself while in the forest and once you locate the gorillas. After the briefing, you will be allocated a gorilla family you will track. The trek can take from 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of the mountain gorillas on that particular day. Once you have found the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them. You will return to the park headquarters for your certificates and return to the lodge.
Wake up very early morning and transfer to the start point for Golden monkey tracking in the forest for -/+4hours then we check in back at the lodge for lunch and transfer to Kisoro crossing the Cyanika border, undergo immigration processes then proceed with your journey to Volcanoes national park.
Another day for Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes national park, this is more the same activity, however, the terrain for Rwanda is different from the one in Bwindi forest therefore gorillas in Volcanoes live in the bamboo forest while the ones in Bwindi in Uganda live in a Jungle.
Have your breakfast and later in the morning we head out to hike to Dian Fossey’s grave for a tribute, She Was an American primatologist and conservationist known for undertaking an extensive study of mountain gorilla groups from 1966 until her death in 1985, so you will have a trek to where her remains were buried and like a remembrance with a tribute this will be an activity for -/+4hours and in the afternoon have lunch.
In the Morning transfer from the Hotel with your Guide for a city tour at the Genocide Museum and the Convention Centre, later we shall drop you off to check in at Kigali International Airport for your flight back home.
