Itinerary Details
Day-by-day
Arrive at Nairobi, and get on a connecting flight, This is a 1-hour flight transfer to Mara, and this flight will connect you to Masai Mara game reserve arriving in the late afternoon with an en-route game drive to the lodge.
0800hrs. After breakfast, you will depart for the whole day game drive in the vast Masai Mara National Game Reserve with a picnic lunch served in the wild. In between, at an extra cost, you will visit a local Masai village where you will be able to interact and learn more about the colourful culture of this nomadic pastoralist community. OPTIONAL: You can also opt to swap the early morning game drive for a Hot-air Balloon excursion, an unforgettable hour spent drifting over the plains of the Mara just as the sun tentatively peeks over the horizon. Your flight will be followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush on touchdown.
Have Breakfast and on this day we shall transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti via the Isibania Border and then another Guide from Tanzania will pick you up and transfer you from the border and begin your journey in a new world of unforgettable Tanzania you will arrive at the gate in Serengeti National park with an en route game drive and dinner at your Camp.
Very early in the morning after your breakfast, set out on the boundless Serengeti, one of the oldest and least-changed ecosystems on earth, where the circle of life plays out every day. For a portion of each year, dictated by weather patterns and the unpredictable nature of wild animals, vast herds of wildebeests and zebras move through the Serengeti in search of grass and water as part of the year-round Great Migration cycle. This evening, sip a cocktail and reflect on the majesty of Africa during a relaxing sundowner experience.
Have breakfast and then you will leave very early in the morning to go and have an experience in the crater this is one of the special wonders of Africa spanning most of Tanzania’s expansive wild and home to so many wild animals, you will leave the crater and proceed to your camp for relaxation and dinner.
After your morning drive, you will transfer from Ngorongoro heading to Arusha where you will get on a flight and transfer to Zanzibar arriving in the afternoon at your resort

About booking this tour
Gorilla & Chimpanzee tracking is subject to the availability of permits, which are limited to 8 per gorilla group per day and 6 per chimpanzee track per ½ day.
Any Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits required need to be paid for upfront when booking. As soon as funds clear in our account, we will go ahead and purchase.
Gorilla and Chimpanzee permits are always 100% non-transferable and non-refundable
The RATES are subject to change and are based on Availabilty with effect from July upon release of the new tariffs from Uganda Wildlife Authority
On flights and land-based tours within East Africa, each passenger is limited to a maximum baggage weight of 33 pounds (15 kilograms). This includes the weight of purses and camera equipment in addition to regular luggage. Luggage restrictions are adhered to very strictly and passengers should pack their bags accordingly. Soft-sided luggage or duffels are preferable to hard luggage for storage on safari vehicles and also on aircraft used throughout East Africa. Dimensions should not exceed 23 inches (58 centimetres) long x 13 inches (33 centimetres) high x 10 inches (25 centimetres) wide.
