Safari Overview

The Great Migration. Almost two million animals move across the Serengeti and Mara plains in search of food and water. The herds move from the southern plains of the Serengeti, through the western section into the Masai Mara in Kenya where they roam for a few months before heading south into the Serengeti again. With over half of the world’s remaining mountain gorilla population, it’s no surprise that the majority of guests visit Rwanda to track and view our highly endangered cousins. Uganda and Rwanda are superb for primates in general, including the fun-loving Sykes monkey, the Golden Monkey and the boisterous chimpanzee in the Nyungwe Forest and Kibale forest
