Zanzibar is an archipelago located off the coast of Tanzania, in the Indian Ocean. It consists of two main islands, Unguja and Pemba, as well as numerous smaller islands. The islands are renowned for their whitesand beaches and stunning coral reefs, making them a popular destination for snorkelling and scuba diving. Zanzibar is also known for its historical sites, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stone Town, a vibrant cultural hub. Relax on the Beach: Unwind on one of Zanzibar’s stunning white-sand beaches, such as the beaches of Nungwi, Kendwa, and Jambiani. And Go Snorkeling: Zanzibar’s crystal clear waters are home to a variety of marine life, making it a great spot for snorkelling.
