Day 1: Kampala-Murchison Falls (Travel Time +5hrs)
Our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel or place of residence in Kampala ready for you will be met by our guide. Then transfer to North-west through famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town, branch off for a visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a guided Rhino walk and picnic lunch. Proceed to Murchison falls National Park with sightseeing enroute to your Lodge. Dinner and overnight at Para Safari Lodge/ Nile safari lodge (High end), Murchison River lodge (Mid-range end) or Heritage Safari Lodge (Low end facility). Meal plan: Half-Board.
Day 2: Murchison Falls
After your cup of coffee, Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape buffalo, Rothschild's giraffe, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Return to the hotel for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the "Devil's Cauldron". En-route, marvel at the toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over this 17 km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob crocodile. This is also a zone of many bird species like Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. There you leave the boat and start your - quite heavy - hike to the Top of the Falls (approx. 1 hour). See where the world's longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Your driver/guide will be waiting for you to bring you back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Para Safari Lodge/ Nile safari lodge (High end), Murchison River lodge (Mid-range end) or Heritage Safari Lodge (Low end facility). Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day 3: Murchison Falls –Fort Portal (Travel Time +8hrs)
All day drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift escarpments with lunch enroute. Fort-Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the moon hotel (High end), Fort Motel (Mid-range end) or Rwenzori Travellers Inn (Low end facility). Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day 4: Fort Portal-Queen Elizabeth Park (Travel Time +2hrs)
Start with Lake Nyabikele & Lake Nkuruba. Lake Nkuruba Nature Reserve is well known as the best place to photograph colobus monkeys in Uganda. The dense tropical forest is home to four species of monkeys including vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys, black & white colobus and the endangered Uganda red colobus. Afternoon dive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (Lodge Facility) or Enganzi Safari Lodge or Simba Safari Camp (Budget Facility). Meal Plan –Full board
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth NP
Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (Lodge Facility) or Enganzi Safari Lodge or Simba Safari Camp (Budget Facility). Meal Plan –Full board
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth- Kampala/Entebbe (Travel Time +7hrs)
Today is dedicated for a guided Chimpanzee trekking along Kyambura Gorge to look for habituated chimps through the gorge. After the chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura, drive and return to Kampala with lunch enroute at your convenience back to Entebbe for your evening flight back home or to your next destination, Meal plan Breakfast and Lunch End of service
