Twin Lakes Experience

The Twin Lakes refer to two scenic crater lakes located in southwestern Uganda near Kabale and close to Lake Bunyoyi. The most well-known pair is Lake Mutanda and surrounding smaller crater lakes in the region, which are often collectively referred to as the Twin Lakes due to their close proximity and similar volcanic origin. These lakes are surrounded by rolling hills, terraced farmlands, and the Virunga volcanoes in the distance, creating one of Uganda’s most beautiful landscapes.
