QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK · Luxury
Honey Bear Bush Camp is an exclusive luxury tented camp with just five suites set along the Kazinga Channel. It offers a highly private and immersive safari experience in a low-traffic area, combining classic safari style with comfort and strong access to wildlife and chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge.
Honey Bear Bush Camp sits on the southern banks of the Kazinga Channel, in a remote and protected section of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Set within the Kyambura Game Reserve, the camp occupies one of the most exclusive locations in the region, with very limited access and almost no other vehicles in the area.
Developed by Wildplaces Africa, the camp blends a classic safari atmosphere with a more refined, design-led approach. With just five tents, the setting is intimate and quietly luxurious, designed to reconnect guests with the rhythm of the bush.
Wildlife is a constant presence. Hippos gather along the channel, elephants regularly approach the water’s edge, and the sounds of the wild carry through camp day and night. The experience is immersive and unfiltered, offering a deeper connection to the landscape than more developed parts of the park.
Check-in is from 12:00 PM and check-out by 10:00 AM, with accommodation offered on a full board basis including meals and selected drinks. The camp operates with solar power and offers Wi-Fi in main areas where available. Children are typically allowed from a certain age (subject to lodge policy). Access is via road transfer to the Kasenyi area followed by a boat transfer to camp. Rates usually include accommodation, meals, selected beverages, laundry, and shared safari activities, while park fees are excluded. Advance booking is recommended due to limited tents, cancellation policies vary, and travel insurance is advised
