Elewana Tortilis Camp's 17 spacious tented suites are arranged across the conservancy to prioritise privacy and natural immersion, with thatched roofs and natural materials throughout the main lounge, bar, and dining areas creating a warm, unhurried atmosphere. Game drives operate both within Amboseli National Park and across the private conservancy an arrangement that gives guests exclusive access to terrain no day-visitor vehicle can reach. Night game drives, walking safaris with Maasai guides, sundowners at Sunset Hill, balloon rides at dawn, and visits to local Maasai homesteads fill out a programme that rewards travellers who want more from Amboseli than a single morning drive.
Tortilis is 100% solar powered and employs around 60% of its staff from the surrounding local community. A commitment to conservation and community that has earned it the Tourism for Tomorrow Award and made it one of the most respected eco-lodges in East Africa.
